Frequently Asked Questions
What's so special about Gratsi?
At Gratsi we believe that the way wine is made matters.

Our wines are all made with minimal intervention and without the use of unnatural or unnecessary ingredients.

Our wines are sustainably made, pesticide free, low in sugar, vegan, gluten-free, and paleo and keto friendly.

Try a box of our Old Country Red or our Old Country White. Whether this is your first bag-in-box wine or whether you’ve tried a few, we think you’ll love it. And as an added bonus, when you enjoy a wine that’s low in sugar, affordable, and sustainably made, it’s a choice that you can feel great about.

How much wine is in each box?
Our boxes contain three liters of wine per unit, which is the equivalent of four standard-sized bottles of wine.
Can I buy Gratsi wines in retail stores?
No. We only sell our wines directly on this site. Controlling every transaction from start to finish allows us to provide the best service possible. Also, we're sentimental and want to get to know our customers!
How long do your wines stay fresh?
Our wines stay fresh after opening for at least 30 days after the first pour. After 30 days the wine is still great, it just starts to lose some brightness.
Do I need to keep the wine boxes in the fridge or can they be stored at room temperature?
You can store our wines at room temperature, preferably below ~78 degrees, before and after you open them. The best practice for all wine is to never store in high temperatures or below freezing as this can change the structure of the wine. A good rule of thumb (if you're able to) is to store dry white wines between 40 - 50 degrees, and reds between 50 - 60 degrees.
Can Gratsi ship wines directly to all U.S. states?
Unfortunately, not all states allow it. Although we ship to the majority of them, some states will not allow wineries to ship directly to their residents. Additionally, due to high freight costs, we do not ship to Alaska at this time. Here are the lists of states we DO and DO NOT deliver to.

DO: Alabama, Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Washington, Washington D.C., Wisconsin, Wyoming

DO NOT: Alaska, Arkansas, Connecticut, Delaware, Hawaii, Kentucky, Mississippi, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Utah, Vermont, West Virginia

Do I have to subscribe to order your wine?
No. Our subscription service is a free option to make your life a little easier. Subscribers also save $10.00 on every order.

** There's no fee to subscribe and you can change the frequency and options as often as you like. Cancel at any time.

Are Gratsi wines lower in sugar than other wines?
Yes! Our wines have far less sugar than many wines in the market. Our wines only contain naturally occurring fructose (no added sucrose here!) and range 0.05 - 0.15g per glass, which is very low by comparison to many wines in the market today. Sugar is a big contributor to the dreaded headache the morning after drinking a few glasses of wine. Who wants that?

Do Gratsi wines contain sulfites?
The important thing to know is that ALL wines contain sulfites, occurring naturally and/or added during the winemaking process. The sulfites in Gratsi wines are almost completely naturally occurring, existing in the grape skins themselves and we keep our SO2 levels well under the allowable organic maximums. We add the least amount possible to keep them package-stable, using minimal intervention throughout the process.
Is a signature required?
Yes. Legally, all alcohol purchases require a signature in order to be delivered. Please make sure someone 21 or older is available to sign for your package. Carriers will not leave packages unattended.
What if I can't be home to sign for the package?
No worries, we have a few different shipping solutions so you can receive your order!

Apartment Office/Doorman
Check with your leasing manager to see if they are available to sign for packages. You may also consider shipping to a friend or neighbor who is generally available to sign for packages.

Business Address
We recommend shipping your order to your place of work since a signature from someone 21+ is required.

UPS Office
Another great option is sending packages to an eligible UPS Office location as it's free to have it held for 5 business days and they often have flexible hours. All you need for pick up is your I.D. and tracking number! You can either set the UPS Office to be your account's default address or you can arrange for pick-up on an as-needed basis. Reach out to our support team for one-off address changes.

If your order has already shipped and you need to change the shipping address, you can do so by following the tracking link, and selecting "Update my Delivery" at the bottom of the page. Please contact us if you need any assistance re-routing your package!
How do you get the spigot to work?
SEE DEMONSTRATION: HERE

Can I recycle the box?
Yes. All our boxes are made from recycled materials and are 100% recyclable.
I like your logo. What does it mean for Gratsi?
Thanks, we like it too! It's a European Water Buffalo, which is the foundation of Buffalo Mozzarella cheese. We're not sure you could ever convince us that there is anything finer than a glass of red wine with fresh Buffalo Mozzarella.
