Sourdough baked Brie is a delicious option if you want to prepare something other than the classic baked Brie. Bake a Brie round inside a loaf of sourdough bread. Use a fork to scoop out the warm Brie!

  • • 1 round loaf sourdough bread
  • • 8 ounce Brie round
  • • 1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
  • • 2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • • 2 tablespoons olive oil
    1. Preheat oven to 450°F. Grease a baking pan, set aside.
    2. Cut a hole in the top of the sourdough loaf, large enough to fit an 8 ounce wheel of Brie.
    3. Pull out some of the bread under the top and set in the baking pan.
    4. Place the Brie round in the center of the sourdough bread.
    5. Add Parmesan cheese.
    6. Sprinkle with Italian seasoning.
    7. Drizzle olive oil all over the top and the surrounding bread.
    8. Cover the hole with the top of the bread loaf.
    9. Place the loaf, ungreased, baking sheet.
    10. Bake for about 20 to 25 minutes or until bread begins to turn golden brown and the cheese melts.
    11. Remove baking pan from the oven and place bread on serving platter. Remove the top of the bread loaf. The Brie should be bubbly and delicious!
