Leslie's Kitchen: Sourdough baked Brie

Sourdough baked Brie is a delicious option if you want to prepare something other than the classic baked Brie. Bake a Brie round inside a loaf of sourdough bread. Use a fork to scoop out the warm Brie!
Ingredients:
- • 1 round loaf sourdough bread
- • 8 ounce Brie round
- • 1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
- • 2 tsp Italian seasoning
- • 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Preheat oven to 450°F. Grease a baking pan, set aside.
- Cut a hole in the top of the sourdough loaf, large enough to fit an 8 ounce wheel of Brie.
- Pull out some of the bread under the top and set in the baking pan.
- Place the Brie round in the center of the sourdough bread.
- Add Parmesan cheese.
- Sprinkle with Italian seasoning.
- Drizzle olive oil all over the top and the surrounding bread.
- Cover the hole with the top of the bread loaf.
- Place the loaf, ungreased, baking sheet.
- Bake for about 20 to 25 minutes or until bread begins to turn golden brown and the cheese melts.
- Remove baking pan from the oven and place bread on serving platter. Remove the top of the bread loaf. The Brie should be bubbly and delicious!
