Salmon with Lemon and Honey

Ingredients

  • 2

    salmon fillets

  • 2

    lemons, sliced

  • For the sauce:

  • 1/2

    cup (80ml) extra virgin olive oil

  • 2

    tbsp honey

  • 2

    tbsp Dijon mustard

  • 1

    tsp dried oregano

  • 1

    garlic clove, finely chopped (or 2 cloves in the sauce if you prefer the garlic baked)

  • Juice of 1 lemon

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  • For garnish:

  • Fresh chopped parsley

This dish tastes like you spent way more time on it than you actually did.
The lemony-garlic sauce with honey and mustard is the perfect combo.

STEP 1

Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).

STEP 2

In a small jar, combine the lemon juice, olive oil, honey, Dijon mustard, oregano, salt, pepper, and garlic. Shake well.

STEP 3

Line the bottom of your baking dish with the lemon slices. Place the salmon fillets on top.

Pour the sauce over the salmon, making sure it’s evenly coated.

Cover with a lid or wrap tightly with parchment paper and foil.

Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the salmon is flaky and cooked through.

STEP 7
