With just two ingredients and a few easy steps, you can have a glass of sunshine ready in minutes. A mimosa is the perfect start to a leisurely brunch — serve it alongside crispy Frittelle di Zucchine, or make it a slow morning with a book from From Tuscany to Corfu: Traveling Through Books. And for a sweet Sicilian finish, try the chilled watermelon dessert Gelo di Melone.

A woman in a blue sweater playfully holds two orange slices over her eyes in a kitchen. On the table are a bottle labeled GRATSI, a glass of orange drink, a pitcher, a knife, and a small plate of snacks. A person in a blue sweater slices an orange on a wooden cutting board next to a bottle labeled GRATSI and a small green-patterned plate on a white table.

STEP 1: Choose Fresh Juice

Freshly squeezed orange juice tastes brighter and more vibrant. For a silky texture, strain out any extra pulp before mixing.

STEP 2: Mix Equal Parts

Use equal parts sparkling wine and orange juice for a classic mimosa—flavorful, light, and not too strong.

STEP 3: Chill Both Ingredients

Make sure both the Sparkling White Wine and juice are cold. Pour each glass individually when ready, or combine gently in a small pitcher for easy serving.

STEP 4: Serve Immediately

Serve immediately to keep the bubbles lively and fresh.
Optional: a few fresh basil leaves & 1–2 slices of dried orange per glass for garnish.
