Step 1
Prepare pasta al dente.
Step 2
In a medium size sauce pan, add butter and olive oil. When it starts to sizzle, add garlic and the zest of one lemon.

Step 3
Add the juice of one whole lemon and continue to stir.
Step 4
Add spaghetti to the skillet with the lemon sauce. Add reserved 1/4 cup pasta water.

Step 5
Finish cooking the spaghetti in the sauce pan. Add a little more water or olive oil as needed.
Serve hot with more lemon zest and chopped parsley.
