Indulge in the ultimate comfort food with our super-easy, super-delicious Hearth Bacon Blue Cheese Pizza by Leslie Carney. Bursting with cozy fall flavors, this recipe is a snap to put together. 


You’ll need one or two pizza dough balls. You can make your own or buy them in the freezer section of your local market. Make sure your dough is room temperature when you start working with it.

• Bacon
• Sausage
• Provolone
• Blue Cheese
• Red onion
• Pear
• Balsamic reduction (optional)

One pizza serves 2, so make extra!


  1. Preheat oven to 450°F.
  2. Put a little flour on your fingertips and stretch dough into a 10 inch round. Place stretched out onto a pizza, stone or cookie tray. Make the edges a little thicker to hold in the sauce. I always have a difficult time getting my dough to be perfect but it doesn’t really matter because the pizza will taste great regardless.
  3. For each pizza add about a half a cup of pizza sauce followed by your favorite toppings. (The ones I used mentioned above)
