Baked Fig Brie

tablespoons of fig preserves

egg, lightly whisked

9x9 sheet of rolled pastry dough

sage leaves

cinnamon stick

cooking twine
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat your oven to 375°F.
Step 2
Thaw out to pastry dough, according to instructions.
Step 3
Use a rolling pin to smooth out thawed pastry dough.
Step 4
Add a few tablespoons fig spread to the center of your pastry dough.


Step 5
Put Brie round on top of fig jam.
Step 6
Using a knife, cut off corners of dough.
Step 7
Wrap the brie cheese with the dough.
Step 8
Cut four or five pieces of twine and wrap each piece around the dough tying in the center. The folded side should be up!
Step 9
Brush with egg and bake for about 20 minutes. Remove from oven and serve immediately. This does reheat as well.
