STEP 1: Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 200°C (390°F).
STEP 2: Season the Potatoes
Place the potatoes in a baking pan. Add salt and pepper to taste.

STEP 3: Add the Chicken
Add the whole chicken on top of the potatoes.

STEP 4: Pour the Sauce
Drizzle the sauce from the jar evenly over the chicken and potatoes.
STEP 5: Add Water to the Pan
Add the 60 ml water to the jar, swirl to collect the remaining sauce, and pour it along the side of the pan.

STEP 6: Season with Pepper
Sprinkle the chicken with some black pepper.

STEP 7: Cover and Bake
Cover the pan with a lid or parchment paper, or aluminum foil. Bake at 380 Fahrenheit (180 Celsius) for 1 hour.
STEP 8: Uncover and Brown
Remove the cover and bake for an additional 40-45 minutes, or until the chicken is golden and the skin is crispy.

STEP 9: Baste and Serve
During this time, baste the chicken with the juices from the pan 3-4 times to keep it moist and flavorful. Serve warm and enjoy with a glass of Gratsi White ! Perfect with a simple salad or fresh bread to soak up the delicious sauce.
