There is nothing sweeter than standing in the kitchen and watching Mama work her magic. especially when she makes her famous coconut macaroons. The way she mixes everything by hand, shaping each one with that little smile on her face, it’s like watching a master at work. Every scoop, every tray, every moment feels like a tiny celebration.

And when those macaroons come out of the oven all golden and perfect, Mama always says, “See? Simple things make the heart happy.” She drizzled the warm chocolate like an artist today. laughing, talking, telling stories, and somehow that made the whole batch taste even better.

STEP 1

Preheat the oven to 350°F. In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded coconut and condensed milk until fully incorporated.

STEP 3

Melt the chocolate using a double boiler. Drizzle the melted chocolate over the cooled macaroons with a piping bag, or dip the bottoms for a richer finish.
