A timeless Tuscan antipasto, these Bruschette deliver creamy, savory, and rustic flavors in every bite.

A rustic kitchen scene with a plate of raw sausage, a loaf of bread wrapped in a cloth with rosemary, a bowl of white sauce, and a glass labeled “GRATSI.” Autumn leaves and flowers decorate the background.

STEP 1

Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Slice the rustic loaf into semi-thick slices and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.

Slices of rustic bread are arranged on a wooden board next to a white bowl filled with creamy dip. A sprig of fresh rosemary lies nearby on the wooden surface.

STEP 2

In a bowl, mix together the sausage (casing removed) and stracchino cheese until smooth and fully combined.

A wooden bowl on a light wood table contains a mixture of ground meat and other ingredients with a metal spoon resting inside the bowl.

STEP 3

Spread a thin, even layer of the mixture onto each slice of bread, making sure it’s level to ensure even cooking.

STEP 4

Bake for about 15 minutes, until the sausage is cooked through and the cheese is melted and lightly golden. After baking, switch to broil for a few minutes to create a crispy top.

STEP 5

Remove from the oven, sprinkle with freshly ground black pepper, and garnish with fresh rosemary.

Enjoy it fresh from the oven with a carafe of Gratsi Red, just the way they do at a Tuscan table. Buon Appetito!
